If we begin our exploration at Bab Rcif, you will immediately find yourself in front of one of the most iconic landmarks of Fez—the University of Al-Qarawiyyin. Founded in 859 AD, it is recognized by UNESCO and the Guinness World Records as the oldest continuously operating university in the world. From there, we proceed to the Bou Inania Madrasa, an architectural masterpiece adorned with intricate tilework and carved wood, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, the resting place of the city’s revered founder.

Continuing through the Medina, we make our way to one of Fez’s most famous sites—the Chouara Tannery.
